After-school & Weekend Programs

We offer a full range of after-school English and Math enrichment programs for students in 4th grade to 10th grade.

After-school classes can be arranged from 2 to 5 days per week.

Weekend classes are also available. Call your local branch for a free evaluation test, consultation, and detailed class schedule!

EEP – ENGLISH ENRICHMENT

Our after-school program is designed to help students build fundamental skills in reading, vocabulary acquisition, writing and grammar. Students develop good study habits through organized lessons, homework and weekly quizzes. Emphasis is on clear instruction, discipline, and communication.

Homework help time is designed to teach children time management, and active problem solving. Our caring instructors are ready to answer questions and guide students in their assignments.

PSAT

Vocabulary development, roots & prefixes, critical reading, and grammar development are emphasized to build a foundation for test-taking skills. Students are also given weekly essay assignments and PSAT Model tests.

WRITER’S WORKSHOP

Focus on the fundamentals of writing: structure, development, mechanics and grammar usage. Students write weekly essays under the guidance of trained writing experts. Corrected essays provide an opportunity for students to revise and improve their writing.

ESL/English as a Second Language
ELD/English Language Development

Programs designed for the beginning to intermediate level English speakers with a focus on phonics, pronunciation, vocabulary development and sentence structure. Classes are taught in an English only setting to encourage speedy language acquisition.

MATH ENRICHMENT

Classes offered include General Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus.

Curriculum follows school textbooks to reinforce fundamentals and provide extra practice. Weekly quizzes track the students’ progress.
